Chaalo makes international experiences accessible to young adults who’ve never had the chance to travel outside the U.S. We offer no cost, short-term learning journeys abroad to young adults who don’t yet have a U.S. passport and have financial need.

It teaches invaluable life lessons, sparks personal growth, and fosters a deeper appreciation for cultures around the world—and our own. It cultivates adaptability, self-awareness, and critical thinking—skills that shape who we are and how we engage with the world.

For many young adults, international travel feels out of reach—financially, mentally, and logistically. They may not have the money. They may not know where to begin. Some lack the confidence or support to take that first step. And often, they’ve simply never had the opportunity.
